That's not correct... what I should have said is that they are not

dangerous to leave for 8 hours for your bird the way that wet foods

are, according to Gloria Scholbe, whom I respect greatly. I know

that some of the parrot breeders check these things under a

microscope. I wouldn't be afraid to leave sprouts all day. That

said, most birds eat their breakfast, then eat dinner, rather than

snacking all day, but you still want to play it safe.

 

I hope the group will forgive me for the off-topic posts, but if you

do keep birds you may find them interesting.
