I would prefer it if everyone would follow the definitions we currently have for defining what they eat, but I also know this is impossible to assume, even when given them, unless I ASK for details from that person and thus learn what they mean. The words are a helpful guide on our road toward further understanding, via communication. That basically means when a gal walks up to me and says, " Hi, I'm a vegan " , then I ask her some questions about how she defines veganism. I ask to make sure she doesn't eat honey b/c some do and some don't, before serving her tea. That type of thing. Not a busy-body in your face type of thing, but more out of my desire to be respectful and a good host. Interesting dicussion. Please no more " what are you smokin' " etc. That shows disrespect in my opinion. It is okay to disagree without getting disagreeable. TIA. ~ PT ~ There is no good in arguing with the inevitable.
