I live in sunny Grants Pass! I love bigfoot hunting (with a camera,

of course) in Cave Junction. ;)

Cool little town. Lots of rascals living out there! *lol*

 

You know, I can't find any TVP sold around here in bulk.

I have to buy it sold in more expensive vegetarian brand packages

like those from Yves or Morningstar Farms etc. However, the

uses for these products are endless. Basically anything in

my recipe files that calls for beef or ground meat; and I use it

straight... don't add anything but seasonings. My meat-eating

family members like it just fine. Hamburger is so scarey with all

of the tainted recalls etc that my husband was ready to give it up

anyway, so that helped as far as its exceptance.
