Guest guest
If I use a wrench from my car kit to kill someone, is there moral culpability attached to the makers of the wrench? If Motorola made land mines I could see the objection more clearly, perhaps. Guest guest
good point, but doesn't apply to this case. the part is not something developed for a pager or cell phone as is my understanding. it is a part used exclusively for the development of the explosives.. Motorola claimed they didn't know what it was being used for, and yet they continued to develop it after this knowledge was presented to them... that is why i object. , The Stewarts <stews9@c...> wrote: > If I use a wrench from my car kit to kill someone, is there moral > culpability attached to the makers of the wrench? > > If Motorola made land mines I could see the objection more clearly, > perhaps. > > > On Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at 12:46 PM, (AT) (DOT) > com wrote: > > > one of the critical parts of these > > mines is manufactured by motorola. so i personally have strong moral > > objections to them. > > > " I tend not to want to extinguish any little flame of truth in the great > darkness that is Nebraska, regardless of the truthsayer's motivation. Oh bloody heck, just clean up when yer done. " If, at first, you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment. " " If, at first, you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.
