I don't exactly know what they meant by this statement though: " We call upon all members of the United Nations to DAMN the Asian countries that have no regard for the welfare of animals. " Any ideas what their damning policy consists of? ~ PT ~ We live in a world which is full of misery and ignorance, and the plain duty of each and all of us is to try to make the little corner he can influence somewhat less miserable and somewhat less ignorant than it was before he entered it. ~ Thomas Huxley (1825-1895) ~~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > ON-LINE PETITION TO THE UN FOR AN ANIMAL RIGHTS BILL > > Having signed the above-mentioned petition, I have now received > confirmation and the suggestion that I forward the petition on in this > format ;=) Am doing just that! I think this would be definitely counter-productive. Generally, damning people (and countries of are made of people) just makes them more stubborn, whereas more gentle persuasion can sometimes be effective.
