Have you had your iron and protein levels checked? The first few times

I tried to switch to a vegetarian diet I was NOT careful about getting

proteins and iron from other sources, and ended up anemic and protein

deficient. In all cases, it began with me feeling weak, lethargic, and

always tired.

 

I was sleeping 16 - 20 hrs/day several months ago, when I was really

sick with an immune system problem, but that's likely not the cause of

your tiredness. Have your doctor run some basic blood tests, and see if

there's anything obviously wrong.

This is an excellent idea...your blood is where this kind of problem would

show up first. I have mine checked several times a year just to verify that

all is fine (especially if I don't feel sick).
