Having just finished reading Digest #234, I am amazed

at the information you all pack into your posts. As I

am a newcomer here I plan to spend some time reading

the archives. I guess I should introduce myself: I

am fifty-three going on forever young. My husband and

I have managed between us to raise three children who

are now off flexing their wings. My youngest daughter

introduced us to the joys of being vegetarians when

she was a teenager. Not always willingly my husband

and I tried each new dish she made. The hardest was

Thanksgiving. The brain kept asking " Where's the

bird " ? Then low and behold my clothes got looser, my

blood-pressure went down and I had more energy. No

looking back now. Anyway, I am off to read the

archives and find a few recipes to try. Vale
