Well, I'm not disagreeing with you there. Like you I do take a

calcium supplement and also did breastfeed my son for 4 years. (No

dental work, but maybe I was lucky)

 

My point was that fortified soymilk contains every bit as many

nutrients as milk. Also that the ANIMAL PROTEIN in cow's milk causes

you to LOSE calcium thru your urine. It does not seem to be a good

thing to be drinking if you have bone disease. Here's part of that

Oh yes...Soy is just as good as calcium. I just

thought that the article was trying to state that we

are too worried about the consumption of calcium in

general and get enough through our foods. I disagree

with that. We need much more calcium than what we get

through our diets (unless we're very strict and eat

PLENTY of greens EVERY day).
