Guest guest
Thx everyone for the poly, mono responses. Btw, Anna & Dave, I thought the religious comparison was very amusing. Pat, keep the cooking lessons coming. I normally just put my hand over the skillet until I think it's about right, but I think the water trick you recommended is great! I noticed no one mentioned cashew butter..not exactly peanut butter but ohhhh so yummy fattening. I've actually gotten tired of stirring in the oil from the top of natural peanut butter before too. Probably not what you're suppose to do, but I ended up taking about a tablespoon of the peanut oil off the top and frying a potato in it. Tasted great. In regards to soy milk and cereal..I've found that I prefer the non- sweetened cereals with soy milk b/c the soymilk has sort of a sweetness of its own. I like plain cheerios, wheat chex, rice chex, etc. I'm not much of a fan of drinking soy straight, but I do like silk's chocolate that way. Those mango flavored, etc soy milk Mr. Graves mentioned sound rather enticing. karen
