Well, if it makes anyone else feel better or more enlightened, I voted for my main reason under: " hate the taste " of meat! hahahaha. I can't help it.... it is true! Oh I voted 'other' - because I couldn't vote for most ;=) The only things inappropriate would have been that I was raised vegetarian or was vegetarian for religious reasons, so there you have it ;=) Now I used to know someone who stopped eating meat because he couldn't afford it - sorta like the young George Bernard Shaw - but folks on this list seem to think veggie eating is more costly than eating meat, which sounds silly to me but I haven't priced meat in so long I wouldn't know ;=) Should be interesting to see how the poll turns out.
