Guest guest
I am not a huge fan of cooked carrots, but this recipe is quite good once in a while. They either have to be spicy or garlicy for me to enjoy them cooked. Spicy Carrots 3 1/2 cups fresh baby carrots 2 Tbs butter or margarine 1 Tbs brown sugar 1 Tbs prepared horseradish 1 tsp dried parsley flakes Salt and pepper to taste Place carrots in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and keep warm. In the same pan, melt butter; stir in the sugar, horseradish and parsley. Add the carrots, salt and pepper; stir gently to coat. Yield: 5 servings ~ PT ~ All good things are wild, and free. ~Henry David Thoreau (essayist and poet)
