Guest guest
Just a suggestion for those that aren't happy with the topics being currently discussed... If you don't like the signal to noise ratio, post more of what YOU consider to be " signal " . Then, if people want to talk about the same things that you do, they'll join in the conversation. If no one is interested..well..then you'll know that too. There is also the option of the delete key as well. What works for *me* when I'm not interested in the topics being discussed (like cat food, etc (and yes, P_T, I can't stand felines; I'm allergic to them so I have a good excuse, but truly, I find them to be vile animals. I'm a dog person, through and through. LOL)) is to read via the web interface. That way I can scan headers and authors, and just read the posts that I want to see, without having to bother with the rest. From my perspective, I'm not here to entertain anyone. I don't tailor my posts to meet anyone else's requirements (other than to attempt to stay within the rules of the group, as I understand them.) I've never felt it was my responsibility to post what other people want to see. I post what I'm interested in, and participate in threads that I feel moved to respond to. Other than that, I sit back and read. Personal responsibility, ya know? Its just electrons, in the final analysis, hm? Not worth getting all bent out of shape about, imnsho. -- Sherri " When we lose the right to be different, we lose the privilege to be free. Guest guest
I like your post, Sherri. You have a good way of looking at things. I think I can even look past your opinions on cats. *lol* I know you aren't alone in them.
