Guest guest
This is my daughter's favorite sandwich recipe to fix for her school baglunch. She uses real ham b/c she isn't yet a vegetarian. I have made them using veggie deli ham slices from Yves and they work quite nicely. Makes a delicious sandwich. Muffuletta 1 Italian-style crusty bun, cut in half horizontally 1 1/2 Tbs Italian dressing 4 tomato slices 2 slices mozzarella cheese 2 slices veggie-ham slices 1/3 cup alfalfa sprouts (or shredded lettuce) Pull out bits of bread from the soft center of both bun halves, making a shallow hollow. Put the dressing in a dish. Use a pastry brush to spread on each bun half. Layer 2 slices of tomato, 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham on the bottom half of the bun. Brush the remaining dressing on the ham. Top with sprouts, remaing cheese slice, remaining tomato slices and remaining ham slice. Cover with top half of the bun. Makes 1 sandwich. ~ P_T ~ The shortest answer is doing. ~ English proverb
