Guest guest
hello, and thank you so much for the invitation to this group! i have been looking on at the site for about a week now, and thought i should go ahead and introduce myself. i am twenty years old, and have really only been a vegetarian for about a month...i've never been much a " carnivore " to begin with, but i tend to be a very picky eater.. however, my husband, with whom i've recently wed " grin " has been vegan for about twenty years now... so he has been a real inspiration, and has been good about breaking me into new things/foods. i agree with many of the other newbies who say this is a great site for vegetarians. i have done much browsing around in sites, and this one has been the friendliest and most informative thus far. i have found a few good living-foods sites that could compare with this group, but definitly not a regular vegan/vegetarian site. my primary goal in my diet switch is to eventually begin a living-food diet, but i feel that since i do not like many veggies, it is best to begin slowly and work my way there! thanks again! michelle
Guest guest
Welcome, michelle. Wonderful of you to post and intro. You mentioned you don't like a lot of vegetables. I was wondering what veggies you do like? I have a son that doesn't like many vegetables either, so finding things he will eat that are good for him is always a challenge. ~ P_T ~ To the dull mind all nature is leaden.Ê To the illumined mind the whole world sparkles with light. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , " insignificant_raindrop < goldfish_cracker_addict> " <goldfish_cracker_addict> wrote: > hello, and thank you so much for the invitation to this group! i have > been looking on at the site for about a week now, and thought i should > go ahead and introduce myself..... <snipped> > michelle
Guest guest
lol well..what vegetables i eat even varies on whether they are cooked or not... if they are cooked i will eat a lot of potatos, corn, broccoli, green beans (out of a can lol) zuchinni, rutabegas... if they are raw then i like to eat carrots.. green peppers (dipped in honey), and everyonce in a while i will eat celery (i dont particularly care for it.. but i am trying to make myself enjoy it lol).... i will eat tomoatoes on occassion if they are in a cooked dish, but again, do not really care for them...... , " ~ P_T ~ <patchouli_troll> " <patchouli_troll> wrote: > Welcome, michelle.
