Guest guest Posted January 28, 2003 Report Share Posted January 28, 2003 Pasta Carbonara 3 cups uncooked tube pasta 6 fakey-bacon strips, diced (your brand of choice) 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 1/4 cups milk 1 package (8oz) cream cheese, cubed 1/4 cup butter or margarine (divided) 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook fakey bacon strips until crisp. Remove to plate. Put 2 Tbs butter in same skillet and saute the garlic until tender. Add the milk, cream cheese and remaining butter. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and crumbled fakey bacon; heat through. Drain pasta and toss with sauce.
