I have printed off your reply and put it inside the cover of my recipe file so I will be sure to know exactly where it is when I come across a recipe requiring a 'stick' of butter. You said that Master Cook had a few little problems but it sounds quite useful and reasonably priced. I am still rather cautious about buying things via Internet due to credit card security worries but if that is the only way to buy it then I guess I'll have to take the risk.
