Who said anything about being afraid? Not me, certainly. I am not afraid of words or ideas. I just don't feel the need to spend however much time reading stuff that doesn't interest me. I to a large number of lists and get a massive amount of information in my inbox from them and from other sources which doesn't interest me. I don't need to read about the latest in penile enhancements, so out it goes. I don't need to read about grooming dogs, so out it goes. I delete huge numbers of recipes, on a variety of lists, which don't interest me. Am I afraid of tripe or swedes? Nope, I just have a fair idea that " Tripe with Baked Swedes " is not a recipe I need in my collection so out it goes without me even bothering to read the recipe.
