Guest guest
To All, By my count, this group exchanged 170 emails yesterday. I wonder if that's any kind of a record? There were quizzical ones, funny ones, reflective ones, and don't forget the " hot under the collar " ones. Here's my take on what happened. IMHO, we became " more " of a family. We experienced a number of interesting behaviors from our " cyber friends, " and as far as I know, we are all still friends. We learned about hot buttons, people's soft spots, fun t-shirts, and even a bit about fantasy. Did anyone drop off the list? Haven't checked yet, but no one's done it publically. The incoming pace was intense. Every time I collected my email, there was 10-15 new emails from the feral. I'm accustomed to that level of activity, but I wonder about others who may have felt swamped by the endless stream of...well, lots of different words would fit here depending on your view of the group behavior. Let's see...I encouraged a " cat fight, " and well...I got something much better and far more positive than that. I suppose I'll be more careful about what I ask for. Yesterday was quite a day on the feral forum. I had a blast when I got home from dinner last night and read all the chatting. I was a little disappointed going to bed...But when my lovely lion swings his tail and shakes his mane, this little lamb must follow. Warmly, Allison Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. What works for me is to read via the website interface. That way I can pick and choose the messages I read, my inbox stays relatively manageable, and I don't miss anything. I set my settings to digest, but I just use that as a notification that there are messages to read, then delete it unopened when I go to the website. Might be worth a shot.. -- Sherri " You can present the material, but you can't make me care. " - Calvin
Guest guest
LOL. I can imagine, Anna. Hopefully the weekend will slow down a bit, eh? If not I am going to request everyone here start switching over to decaf! *jk* ~ P_T ~ There are times when we must sink to the bottom of our misery to understand truth, just as we must descend to the bottom of a well to see the stars in broad daylight. -Vaclav Havel, writer, Czech Republic president (1936- ) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , AnnaJames91@c... wrote: > Try having to groups that do this on a regular basis.. ) > I tried digest, but I was missing bits and pieces, So I surrender!
