RE: Hot buttons!/Evil words

Hmmm, seems to me that " learning " is not the same as " knowing. "

When I was a young child, I was told not to touch the wood heating stove

because it would burn me. I knew " not to touch it " but had not learned the

message behind it until I accidentally brushed a fully stoked stove. Only

at that point did I learn " why " I should not touch the stove.

So, I suggest that when one is " dead set " on a particular point, any

knowing/hearing/reading on that point is **not the same as** learning.

PS. Are " words " inherently evil, or is that evil transferred to them by a

speaker?

RE: Hot buttons!

Sure it does. Just because you learn something new

doesn't mean it's going to change you or your life.

I evolve over time, I don't just change overnight

because I learned something new and exciting that day.
