Guest guest
Why were those metal lunchboxes discontinued? Fad? Or was it really as someone told me " ...they stopped selling them b/c kids can use them as weapons to bash eachother over the heads and in this age of zero-tolerance in schools, metal boxes are a big no-no " . Is that second comment true or just an urban legend? I have been curious about that. I am glad you found that soup kit recipe useful. I got a phone call one night out of the blue from a guy I gave that to . He is an avid meat-eater but loves to cook. He fixed that soup as the instructions said and he just loved it. He didn't add a thing. He said his whole family enjoyed it that night so much that his wife told him to call and ask for the recipe. ~ P_T ~ Everything you've learned in school as `obvious' becomes less and less obvious as you begin to study the universe. For example, there are no solids in the universe. There's not even a suggestion of a solid. There are no absolute continuums. There are no surfaces. There are no straight lines. -R. Guest guest
I'll bet...no, I surmise they were too easily made into a club like weapon. Aren't most things the kids get to keep much softer? >>...Why were those metal lunchboxes discontinued?...<<
