Guest guest
Just wanted to let you know, Allison, we aren't here to count mistakes. LOL Even if you type stear or steer. No apologies needed. But saying you did apologize, you're forgiven. Heehee. Welcome to the group Gordon. Hope you enjoy it here. Thanks EVER so much, Mia, for the Dog Biscuit recipes. I'm going to show them to my daughters when they come home and maybe they'll love making them for their dogs. Thanks again. I would like to have the recipes Mia, Pet Food Recipes. I see there are others who want them as well. You're hardly a board hog. I agree Maija. Let's move on like you said. There is such a thing as agreeing to disagree when it comes to diets and what is best. No one is ever going to agree what diet is best . HELP!!! What is shoyu? and daikon? ROFL @ P_T when you were talking about dissolving kitty hairballs in their throats and called it Kitty Draino. LOL For some reason that really struck me funny. Thanks for the good laugh. A vegetarian person can on rare occasions get colon cancer for you see my mother died from colon cancer for it came back the 2nd time and she was 81 years old. The only time she ever ate meat was when we went out to eat and then and only then did she eat meat and it was fish only. Otherwise she was a vegetarian for 81 years, ovo-lacto tho for she did eat the odd egg and drink milk. She passed away last year in April. I still miss her very much. Sorry for feeling a little down right now. Guess all this colonoscopy just brought back a lot of memories of what she went thru. Welcome aboard Ian and Raman. Hope you enjoy it in here and you can post all you want. Take care and nighters. I'm finally all caught up now. WOW that was a lot of emails. LOL But hey that's okay I enjoyed them all. Going to sign off now. Take care and keep laughin. JC ===== FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If procrastinators had a club, would they ever have a meeting? 'Shoyu' is another name for 'tamari' - a very superior kind of soy sauce. I mean - very superior to regular soy sauce. It has less salty taste, and more depth of flavor. Tamari is available in natural food stores, and a lot of regular supermarkets too nowadays. I use tamari a lot, it's my basic all-purpose seasoning - I use it instead of salt. 'Daikon' is a very large Japanese radish. I haven't tasted daikon (knowingly, although I may have had it in cooked dishes in restaurants), but I assume it tastes pretty much like other radishes. It can be VERY large, several feet long.
