Guest guest
Thanks for posting this. I am going to have to try it a next time I see the red peppers on sale. I didn't realise they could keep for so long and they certainly would be a lovely addition to salads and most any other dish. FYI, I placed this in the files under side dishes; I wasn't sure where else to place it, bt at least it is there. OT....Last year I grew some green bell pepers and placed the plants near my roma tomatoes. Now I don't know if this is true or not, but somebody told me once that the tomatoes will get a slightly peppery flavor when planted in close proximity to the them. I thought they did, but perhaps it was the power of suggestion. (?) Do any avid or experienced gardeners know if this is true or a myth? ~ P_T ~ Fame is proof that people are gullible. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ , AnnaJames91@c... wrote: > 1/2-inch strips.
