Guest guest
Genie, Thanks very much for the recommendation. I've got a few of her books around and shall check into it. She seems, from what I've read and heard, to be both intelligent and sensitive, as well as earth-aware, as you say. Not the usual romance/vampire thing at all, but instead a thoughtful writer whose every book takes a new look at things that matter. Could you paraphrase or sum up the gist of her view of, is it chickens, using animals for food, or vegetarianism? I shall have to look for her book of essays, sounds interesting. --Gene Hey, if we teamed up we'd be a David Bowie song. lol On Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at 11:26 AM, (AT) (DOT) com wrote: > Small Wonder > > Hey, has anyone been reading the latest book by Barbara Kingsolver, > Small Wonder?
