Be whatever is healthy. The two by definition are not incompatable.

 

Personally, I don't think we'll be seeing an answer here because no one

knows what " high-protein " means, not the professionals and not us. There

are tests to determine when excess protein is being excreted from the body,

but the factors necessary for tracking it are too much for us to deal with.

 

If you're an athelete, you probably have already zeroed in on your protein

needs or else you feel too much pain for too long after an event. Sadly,

everybody else is left to try this and then try that to see what feels best

for them.

 

And, well...the issue will probably not get sufficient attention.
