Hi Tracey, welcome to the group, and you have come to the right

place. Look

in our files section and in there are a lot of delicious smoothie

recipes. You

can also use those as a muse for your own creations.

As far as essential food items, I am sure to keep my pantry stocked

with the

basics (flour,nuts and nut butters, dried beans, rice, spices, baking

supplies

etc). The rest I buy as I need them in recipes (fresh fruits,

vegetables, tofu;

basically anything that spoils quickly).

I recently bought myself a small food processor and I love it for

chopping up

my onions, peppers, and all my veggies.

Good to have you with us. I look forward to reading your posts. :)

We make smoothies from frozen strawberries, a little honey to taste,

protein powder (we use Shaklee Energizing Soy in vanilla) milk and ice.

Once in a while we throw in a frozen banana. Throw it in the blender and YUM!
