We > consulted our vet, and she said no problem, and sure enough there has been > none. > Yes, isn't it amazing to some people that it should be so! ;=) Of course, you need a good quality dogfood - but you need that anyway - or you need to make your own - which is okay if you're cooking everyday anyhow ;=) For our beagles we do a mix of vegetarian kibble with home-cooked veggies and grains and legumes. We occasionally add some dairy and egg, even when we're not eating it ourselves. But they do just fine on a good vegetarian kibble, even. Do you use vitamin and mineral supplements for them?
