Guest guest
This is strictly off topic, but after the four posts on Dog Lovers maybe I can be forgiven. I have recently set up a group called Townhounds - intended to address training and social problems (both canine and human) as well as the practical issues of dogs in the city. Although I have so-called 'hunting dogs' - a brace of beagles - both have been raised as household pets only. Around here (a city of 350,000) it is assumed that such dogs *are* hunters and belong in the country hunting rabbits etc. I ran into other people with scent hounds and sight hounds - and yes even spaniels and and and - The result is my list. It is not just for hounds and hunting dogs, of course ;=) Anyone interested in all aspects of dogs in the city (not whether or not they *should* be in the city if they are large or sporting dogs) can be addressed. One thing only - discussion of hunts and hunting is not decidedly *not* encouraged ;=) Replies?
