splenda

I'm sorta 'against' Splenda. Granted when it first hit the market I

thought it was great, even used it in making sweet tea. It def. has a

much better flavor than equal/sweet-n-low. Before trying splenda I

had warded off diet-coke, sweet-n-low, equal, etc due to their

ingredients and some scary stuff I read about it. I thought that

Splenda was the answer. Ofcourse, after using Splenda for about a

year I then read some frightening info about it as well. I know that

many diabetics have very little choice in just limiting their

consumption of sugar, but this is by far my preference. I do not have

any sources/links to back up my anti-splenda mentality since it has

been years since I threw out the splenda in my home. Maybe someone is

familiar with more recent info concerning Splenda?
