Guest guest
Can anyone tell me whether or not there is a vegetarian/vegan substitute for Thai fish sauce? I know there is a vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce (although I've not found it yet - not really looked as hard as I could, I reckon) and that my Chinese Oyster Sauce is the vegetarian variety - all I ever use. One can always omit the sauce, of course, but I think somewhere somehow some clever company must have come up with a non-real-fish variety ;=) Many thanks, pat -- PAT (In London, Ontario) Email List: townhounds- (townhounds/) Personal Email: SANTBROWN Personal Webpage: http://www.angelfire.com/art/pendragon/ ---------- * " Until he extends the circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.
