Guest guest
I wrote this out once already but the idiot computer lost it! nevermind, such is technology! As i was saying.... I think you've hit the nail on the head there Pat! " They think that vegetarians are constantly struggling with the urge to eat meat .... " I'm sure this is the case with most people i know. A friend only last night asked me if i " really really missed a nice juicy bacon sarnie! " (sandwich) I told him that i didn't miss it at all and that the smell of cooking meat made me feel sick and he seemed really suprised. He then went on to say that his last girlfriend was veggie for 11 years before she met him and that he " converted her " and was gonna start on me next! How ridiculous! its pretty arrogant to assume that his last girlfriend isn't capable of her own thoughts and decisions! But i'm pretty sure he would of gone on and on about how " great meat is! " , thats his own opinion. I've made him sound like a nightmare now. He's a good guy, he just finds things he perceives as sensitive spots to wind people up about and take the mickey out of. Most of my male friends are like this, but to be honest i wouldn't have it any other way... they make me laugh. thats enough of a rant for now, laura (uk)x
