Introduction

Hello Everyone!

 

Thank you for inviting me to join this list. My name is Pat, and I live

with my husband (and 2 dogs and a cat) in London, Ontario. London is in

south western Ontario, about halfway between Toronto and

Detroit/Windsor.

 

We have been vegetarians for some twenty years, off and on (mostly 'on',

but , until the last few years, with occasional forays into chicken- or

fish-eating and quick escapes from it ;=) - not a perfect record). We

do, however, eat dairy and eggs, as do our dogs.

 

We don't eat sweets, except for fresh fruit - just a matter of

preference - but we love casseroles and soups and stir fries. We eat a

lot of asian or asian-inflected dishes. We also love pasta. This last

few years I have been making all our own bread and our own noodles.

 

I am really looking to exchanging ideas with people on this list.

 

Thanks again for the 'invite' - a very timely seasonal present.
