Guest guest
Oh they would flip alright! I've often said they're rolling in their graves. Washington especially...He wanted us to be out of everything. Hubby has a nice collection of letters from Jefferson to Madison and vice versa. Essays, etc. I really enjoy Jefferson's writings. A good coffee table book for you if you're interested is Peter Jennings' latest " In Search of American " Todd Brewster was a co writer. Great book, loaded with information. Peter Jennings is a follower of the founding fathers' principles. I bought it off Barnes & Nobles' website for about $20 less than the regular store prices. Warmly, Allison --- The Stewarts <stews9 wrote: > Same here; glad the quotation found a receptive eye > and mind. > > You've got their correspondence, I presume? > > > On Monday, December 16, 2002, at 05:53 AM, > (AT) (DOT) > com wrote: > > > Interesting quote, Gene.
