Depends on the zoo, they vary widely. Usually newer are better.

In many cases the natural environments are disappearing fast so the Bush

League can make even more pennies, and so on. Worse, many species would

not be around right now were it not for zoos, and breeding programs, and

so on. The Giant Panda is a case in point -- the hand-ful in the wild,

were zoos not educating people about them, would long since have been

killed off by the land-greedy.

Lacto ovo vegetarian, as if it's anyone's business. Nor does it relate to

my view of zoos.

Isn't frittering the time what these clubs are all about, really? As if

we're all in a ZOO?
