No Dumb Questions

Not a dumb question at all, especially given all the terms being tossed

around. If you eat dairy and eggs but no meat, you're a lacto-ovo

vegetarian. If you eat no meat and cut out dairy and eggs, you become a

Vegan. It's that simple and that silly.

Those who ask if you eat chicken of fish after being told you're veggie

are just ignorant. Educate them. The other day at T'ai Chi someone found

out my family is vegetarian because they want to have some sort of dinner

at, where else, a Kobi Steak House. *rolls eyes* When she found out, she

at once began asking me all the standard neophyte questions, such as, " How

can you possibly get enough protein? " and so on. *sigh*

I patiently explained, but she was more interested in lecturing me, so I

gave up. People are stubborn, willfully stupid at times, and will do

pretty much what ever they want anyway. However, if someone asks, or

shows interest, I will explain things to them to the best of my own

understanding.

There are no dumb questions. (This is how I've raised my kids.) Only

dumb answers.

Gassho.

Never try and teach a pig to sing: it's a waste of time, and it

annoys the pig.
