By the way, they are ethical veggies, not for health. LOL As to the use of leather and so on, what you say is true, it's sort of biodegradable in natural form, but by the time you wear it the poor hide has been through so many toxic chemical processes as to be akin to plastics. Further, the objection to leather is that one must kill an animal to get it. Those objecting to leather often also object to big oil, pollution of any kind, and plastics, et cetera, too.
