Guest guest
I thought I would post a bunch of replies in one message. First off, welcome to the group, Mirian. You live in Brazil? That is so cool. What made you become a vegetarian in the first place and are your daughters also vegetarians? Hey Phillip, I love the term " Vegaquarian " ; much better than pesco- vegetarian. I don't know about that shirt though. *lol* That deer looks like he means business. Beth, does this mean you are all done with your holiday shopping? I am so jealous! I know you have left the group until you get back to the regular world, but all I can say is I tip my hat to you in salute. I hope you have a wonderful time in the mountains. Bart, thanks for those nutty rice recipes. They sound delicious. The linguistic pronounciation lesson was greatly appreciated as well. I love the cologne tips. *lol* My dh wears this stuff he bought in a Jeans West store called Jacamo (sp), but we have not been able to find it again since. I have searched high and low and all over the www. I did find Jacamo de Paris (which was the original stuff his was fashioned after) but he didn't like it as well. Oh well. I will certainly have to look for this Catalyst, Allison. That Givenchy Pi sounds promising too, Karen, and *LMAO* @ " p_____ juice " ! My dh went to college in NYC with the son of Sr. Givenchy but somehow I doubt we will get a discount. *lol* Tea? I love tea and do post your recipes. I collect semi-antique tea pots and enjoy making a nice pot from loose tea every so often. Karen, what is southern sweet tea and how is it made? We have a southern BBQ place up here in Oregon where I live and every time they ask me if I want my iced tea as regular or the southern sweet tea. I always just get regular since I am not sure what they mean. I drink a lot of decaf herbal teas. Chai (a decaf spiced tea) lattes are a favorite from my coffeehouse when I know drinking coffee lattes will keep me up all night. I am a huge coffee fan as well, and even co- host a coffee group on called dejabrew. Prefered Stock! I do like that as well, Janice. My dh doesn't like it at all really, but his twin brother loves it and claims he has " success " with it as well. He isn't rich or famous, so I have to wonder what kind of success he means? Then again, maybe I don't. JC, I can soooo relate about the " where to grow those veggies " dilema. We get all sun, no rain in the summer, literally. I have to be careful more of not scorching my vegetables, and I can't seem to grow any lettuce in the summer, but this could be more from my lack of knowledge. Eek on the restaurant sabotage! Now I am nervous. Maybe that is a good thing and I will save money by not eating out so much. *lol* I worked in a nice restaurant during college as well, and I know the chefs did stuff, but like Kate said it was usually to those rude folks who keep sending their prime rib back 5 times b/c it wasn't ever " just so " ; they never seems miffed about special requests from people with dietary restrictions. Gary, quite interesting about the wallboard. I never knew that, and might I say " Ew! " . *lol* Okay, I best get busy doing something around here. Bye for now. ~ P_T ~ I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet. -Mohandas K. Gandhi (1869-1948)
