Guest guest
I am glad you joined. I'm the only vegetarian in my house as well. Thankfully with a whole bunch of convenient vegetarian items on the market, I can fix dinner for everyone and myself all at the same time. Have you tried any of those items before? ~ P_T ~ To see a world in a grain of sand, / And a heaven in a wild flower, / Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, / And eternity in an hour. -William Blake, poet, engraver, and painter (1757-1827) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , Missy <nitengale67> wrote: > > Hi All, > > Thank you for the invite. I haven't been part of a Veggie group before that actually said anything. (lol) I am 35 female, recently relocated to Calif, married with 2 teenagers. I work full time as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Dept. on night shift. I have pretty much given up on cooking due to Me being the only Vegetarian in the house. I eat no beef, pork or dark meat. I occassionally will eat Chicken/Turkey breast and maybe twice a year eat Halibut . I was never a big meat eater but I totally stopped eating it about 15 years ago. My daughter does all the cooking in the house and can do as well as I can. It will be nice to talk to others that have easy quick receipies for a nurse on the run. I have to admit that I go more for prepared food/veggies/ fruit instead of cutting it up myself when I can get away with it. Anyway, My name is Missy and I hope everyone has a great day!! > > > > > > Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now > >
