Guest guest
In an amusing TV new filler, they showed a Turkey Farmer who cannot bear to kill his birds, because his family names them and they become like pets. They still go buy a dead bird at the supermarket for their meal. I found this both hypocritical and amusing. Would you eat a meal of dog, if it were offered? (Michael Palin of Monty Python, in one of his subsequent shows, actually had dog offered him, in a Cantonese restaurant in China, where they do indeed eat dog. He declined. Bravo, Mr. Palin.)
