Cold & Wet in TN- Time 4 Cream Of Broccoli Soup!

Its cold, rainly and bleek in East Tennessee tonight so I decided to fix

something to fit the mood! This soup is soooo easy and soooo good. (And better

than Friday's or Cooker's Cream of Broccoli Soup if I do say so myself! ;~)

 

Watch out for that " hot pepper cheese " though. Its got a bite!

Cream of Broccoli Soup

 

 

 

2 packages of Frozen Broccoli or one head chopped (Cook)

 

2 pints of Half and Half

 

1 onion sauté in butter

 

2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

 

Black pepper to taste

 

 

 

Heat soup and milk in saucepan. (Do not boil!)

 

Add onion and broccoli

 

Then add:

 

2/3 of Velveeta Cheese block

 

1/3 hot pepper cheese block

 

(Enough cheese to make 1 pound and make sure you use the hot pepper cheese to

taste.)Add cheese to mixture until it melts.
