Veggie Dogs Success

My husband will eat a lot of vegetarian entrees and meals,

thank heavens. And he'll eat some veggie burgers. I don't

like the fake hamburger ones myself, but I do like a lot of

the 'frankly veggie' ones - with Gardenburgers being my

favorite brand.

 

Anyway: we had five one-dollar off coupons for Morningstar

Farms products and got mainly veggie burgers - so convenient

for lunch (my husband is home for lunch - works at home when

he's working although he's only working part-time now

because of health problems).

 

Anyway, lunch is always a problem so I'm glad to have the

burgers. We wouldn't ordinarily buy them as they are

expensive, but they're OK with the dollar-off coupon.

 

(My, this is getting long-winded, sorry.)

 

ANYWAY (again!), we bought one package of Morningstar Farms

veggie hot dogs and they're pretty good! DH actually LIKED

them! I did too - not too surprising in my case, but that

DH liked them was really a victory.

I like them well enough, but nobody else in my family will eat them. I keep

mine in a ziplock baggie in the freezer so they don't go bad before I use them

up. I have that problem often enough around here with veggie products that

only I will eat.

 

BTW, I really like them with vegetarian chili on them. Mmmmmm
