" This reminded me of the inane " What would JC do? " This in turn led me to pull a switcheroo joke by asking, as if innocently, " Julia Childs? " To which someone said, " Childs doesn't say 'nighters'. " To which I responded, " You've obviously never had a sleep-over with her. " So it was all silly nonsense, and not because you reminded anyone of the redoubtable Ms. Childs, except initially, as it were. And now I've broken the " Don't Explain " rule.
