I knew it wasn't directed at me, per say, but rather at the ones you are friends with or know. Too bad you haven't personally met any who practice what they espouse. I guess those types are in every polital party. However, I do fit that label of liberal-veggie. *lol* I know when I am in certain groups of people I get that eye-rolling look of , " Oh great. Another tree- hugging liberal " when the topic of my being a vegetarian comes up. I just laugh and assure them that yes indeed, I am everything they fear. ;-) ~ P_T ~ You've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was. ~ Irish saying

We must be the odd couple! LOLOLOL Just kidding!! I use to be a very conservative person. Hard core Reagan loving republican. Then, I started to walk a path that helped me to " think outside the box " and I became a mish mash of things when I tried to see the other side. My conservative friends still call me a " tofu loving tree hugging pacifist " and my liberal friends don't think I have back bone! (And we say this all in jest. We all love each other dearly!) Now I find it really important for my well being NOT to have to catagorize into anything. I have my beliefs and ethics that I follow but try not to become set in believing i have to fall under a specific catagory, name or title. I find that helps me to be more compassionate in my thinking!
