Tangy Coleslaw

 

1/2 large head cabbage, shredded

2 large carrots, shredded

1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper

2 Tbs finely chopped onion

 

Dressing:

1/4 cup sugar

3 Tbs vinegar

2 Tbs vegetable oil

1 tsp celery seed

1/2 tsp salt

 

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion. In a jar

with a tight fitting lid, combine dressing ingredients; shake well. Pour over

vegetables and mix together. Cover and chill 4 hours before serving. Yield: 10

servings
