This is a slightly different spin on macaroni and cheese, and I like it very

much. I have made it with low-fat sourcream and cottage cheese with good

results. The only thing I do differently from the recipe is to puree or blend

out

the lumps from the cottage cheese. I have never liked that texture.

Circe is indeed the goddess who lured sailors to her island and then

turned them into swine. However, she did finally relent and give them

directions to get home. No doubt this was the genesis of men being

afraid to stop for directions.
