Guest guest
I am going to make this for the adults here this week. For the kids I usually have to make something " normal " . This recipe is worth the effort and the leftovers don't seem to last very long either. Mediterranean Pizza 2 jars (6.5 oz each) marinated artichoke hearts 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried thyme 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided 1 cup thinly sliced veggie deli ham 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes 1 cup chopped ripe olives 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese Drain artichokes, reserving marinade. Chop artichokes; set aside. On floured surface, roll bread dough into a 15 inch circle. Transfer to a greased 14 inch pizzqa pan or baking stone; build up edges slightly. Brush dough lightly with reserved marinade. Combine basil, oregano, and thyme; sprinkle over marinade. Sprinkle one cup Monterey Jack cheese, ham, artichokes, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. Sprinkle with remaining Monterey Jack cheese. Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese and crust are lightly browned. Yield: 4 to 6 servings ~ P_T ~
