I changed the picture on our homepage again. I am still on the lookout for the

perfect feral veggie Halloween motif. My latest Realms of Fantasy magazine

has a cool picture with a wild woman with owl skulls sewn on her cloak and

she is carrying a bloody sword. I don't think that really conveys that " love for

animals " feel I'm looking for though. *lol*

 

I adopted a new " baby " this weekend. I went to a lady's house where she had

advertised she was getting rid of all her kennel dogs (she had a bunch of

dogs all different small breeds). She was running a dog breeding business in

her back yard. She always kept all the dogs in coops and in a shed to sleep

at night. The dogs don't get any attention and were not house trained. I

rescued Lizzy (3 year old Jack Russell terrier) from there. She is so sweet, and

so happy to have a family now. Tomorrow I take her to the vets for her check-

up and everything. So far potty-training has been going well. She only

messed in here once on the first day. I have been busy with her though and

let her out often. I will have to get the digi-camera out and post some pictures

soon.

 

I hope all is well with everyone. What's for dinner tonight? Monday I fixed

homemade strombolis with a green salad. Last night I made tuna casserole

for the family, and a side veggie casserole for me; I'm sure mine tasted much

better. *lol* For today I just feel so uninspired. I am not sure what I will

make.
