Guest guest
This makes a lot of salad. Just to warn you if you have a smaller family like I do. I have fixed it for potluck parties before, but just for eating here at home, I cut it in half. It is very good and much like a salad I have had at one of those country buffet restaurants. California Pasta Salad 1 pound thin spaghetti or vermacelli, broken into 1-inch pieces, cooked 3 large tomatoes, diced 2 medium zucchini, diced 1 large cucumber, diced 1 medium green pepper, diced 1 medium sweet red pepper, diced 1 large red onion, diced 2 cans (2-1/4 oz) sliced black olives, drained 1 bottle (16 oz) Italian dressing 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 Tbs sesame seeds 2 tsp poppy seeds 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp celery seed 1/4 tsp garlic powder Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl; cover and refrigerate overnight to combine flavors. Yield: 10-15 servings ~ P_T ~ A man's conscience, like a warning line on the highway, tells him what he shouldn't do - but it does not keep him from doing it. -Frank A.
