Guest guest
SNOW IS EVIL!! Your fiance is absolutely right <G> We do have fire ants here who really test my " no killing " philosophy, and palmetto bugs which are quite impressive/scary but harmless. I wonder why we don't have chiggers. Actually we have less bugs, and way less bugs in the house than we did when we lived in the midwest. Go figure. Guest guest
Nah... I miss the seasons. I have lived in the Carribean and south Texas for the last 7 years, I love the warm but I miss snow. I am more than ready for a change... Kris wrote:SNOW IS EVIL!! Guest guest
I have a no killing philosophy too with the exception of self defense. I had to hire an exterminator (something I have never done) this year b/c of the fire ants. With the rains, I've never seen so many. They were ALL over our house. I couldn't put my infant down on her blanket b/c they would go right to her and sting her all over. Also, they would cover her cloth diapers. These aren't sweet little ants...These are killers. They pack a powerful sting and will seek and destroy anything they can. A baby wouldn't stand a chance against an army of them. Good thing was that they managed to kill all the scorpions that were invading our space as well. Scorpion is something else I kill if I find in my environment. They are very harmful. But, the spiders and moths, beetles and crickets can live in harmony with me (though I do show them the door). Anything that hurts me or my children in MY space wills suffer dire consenquences. Warmly, Allison --- Kris <kristc99 wrote: > SNOW IS EVIL!!
