Guest guest
I regret to say my plum tree did not produce well this year. *pouts* I think I only found four plums on it! I do hope a generous neighbor with share their bounty with me, and if they do, I will bake up a batch of these and share some back with them with a recipe card. On another list a member was lamenting how she had a ton of plums and needed recipes for using them. Lucky her! *lol* Poppy Seed Plum Muffins 2 cups flour 2/3 cup sugar 1Tbs baking powder 1 Tbs poppy seeds 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 egg 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled fresh plums In a bowl combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, beat the gg, milk, and butter; stir in dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in plums. Fill greased muffin cups to two-thirds full. Bake at 425 for 18-20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Yield: 1 dozen ~ P_T ~ Why should I fear death? If I am, death is not. If death is, I am not.
