Guest guest
This is actually very good. I ran across it one day when looking for something a bit different than my usual pasta salad recipe. Italian Pasta Salad 3/4 cup uncooked spiral pasta 1-1/2 cup halves cherry tomatoes 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms 1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper /4 cup chopped green peppers 3 Tbs thinly sliced green onions 1-1/2 cups zesty Italian dressing 3/4 cup mayonaise 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 (2-1/4 oz) can sliced black olives, drained Cook pasta, rinse in cold water and drain. Place in a bowl; add tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and salad dressing. Cover a refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. In a bowl, combine mayo, Parmesan cheese and olives. Gently fold into pasta mixture. Serve in a lettuce lined bowl for a nice presentation. Yield: 6 servings. ~ P_T ~ I'm sometimes asked " Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men? " I answer: " I am working at the roots. " -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)
